Allan Der is a native California conservation photographer in Mono County, CA. He studied Photography and Graphic Design at Pasadena CC, Art Center LA and graduated with a BFA from CSULB. He has worked as a Graphic Designer, Photographer and Art Director.

His photographic work has mostly been commercial and advertising, annual reports and other publications. His clients have included IBM, Arco, Knudsen, Kraft Foods, Lawrys Foods. He has participated group shows with Art Directors Club of Los Angeles, Communication Arts, Los Angeles Center for Photographic Studies, Pasadena Museum of Modern Art and MOCA Temporary.

When graphic design moved to computers in the 80's he started consulting and supporting computer graphics. Achieving Apple and Microsoft certification, his career turn to IT consulting and support.

He has had a passion for hiking, backpacking, caving and mountaineering for more than 50 years and has lead trips for the Sierra Club. With semi-retirement his passion continues with photography and currently focused on super wide 360 degree panoramic photography.

Γεννημένος και μεγαλωμένος στην Ελβετία από Έλληνες γονείς με καλλιτεχνική φλέβα, ο Soulis (Αθανάσιος Παπαγρηγορίου) χρησιμοποιεί όλες τις πτυχές της τεχνολογικής εξέλιξης για να εμπλουτίσει το πηγαίο καλλιτεχνικό χάρισμα με εστίαση στη φωτογραφία και τη ζωγραφική.

Με σπουδές στη Σχολή Καλών Τεχνών στην Ελβετία, πέρα από τη φωτογραφία, συνέχισε με κινηματογράφο, μορφολογία προσώπου και γραφικό σχέδιο(graphic design).

Με ασίγαστο πάθος, ευαισθησία και επαγγελματισμό ξεκίνησε την καριέρα του με άμεση συνεργασία με το διεθνές πρακτορείο μοντέλων ELITE στη Γαλλία, με το διεθνούς κυκλοφορίας περιοδικό VOGUE και με εξαιρετικές φωτογραφικές καλύψεις fashion shows. Η καλλιτεχνική του πορεία συνεχίστηκε και στην Ελλάδα αιχμαλωτίζοντας με τον φακό του την γοητεία Ελληνίδων καλλονών – χωρίς να παραλείπει ωστόσο την καλλιτεχνική κάλυψη γάμων και βαπτίσεων αλλά και την απαθανάτιση της πανέμορφης φύσης.

Εκφράζει την εμπειρία από τα ταξίδια του σε πολλές χώρες και την επαφή του με διάφορες παραδόσεις με ευαισθησία και αυθορμητισμό στην κάθε φωτογραφία η οποία την καθιστά μοναδική.
