Sandwiched between the snowy peaks of Siula Grande ( 6,344 m ), Yerupaja ( 6,617 m ) to the west and a lesser range to the east are three roughly elliptical lakes, Quesillococha, Siulacocha and Gangrajancra lying in tendem with colours ranging from turquoise to apple green.
