Maître-autel - vers 1837-1847 - Marbre et stuc - église Notre-Dame
Deux chapelles latérales s'ouvrent sur la nef de l'église Notre-Dame. L'une d'elles, dédiée aux défunts, présente un décor de style gréco-romain. Le temple à colonnes ioniques est souvent représenté dans cette composition. L'autel privilégié pour les morts est placé sous l'égide de saint Joseph et de Jésus, dont une statue orne une niche. Un agneau mourant décore le centre de l'autel. Adopté par les premiers chrétiens, il symbolise de sacrifice du Christ. "Les piédestraux, les arcades et les pilastres de l'ordre ionique" se retrouvent dans les chapelles comme dans la partie ancienne de l'église.
