Wiesengrund Erlangen Autumn 2025
Erlangen

A breathtaking aerial panorama of the Wiesengrund in Erlangen, showcasing the lush green floodplain landscape stretching along the Regnitz River. The view captures a harmonious blend of open meadows, winding waterways, and tree-lined paths, surrounded by the urban fabric of Erlangen.

In the distance, the historic city center and university buildings emerge, with the Schlossgarten and towering church spires clearly visible. The image reveals a seamless transition from the tranquil natural reserve of the Wiesengrund to the vibrant cityscape, framed under a bright blue sky dotted with soft clouds.

From this high vantage point, the contrast between nature and urban life becomes strikingly clear, illustrating Erlangen’s unique balance between ecological preservation and modern development.
