Native dune grasses line the sandy beach as the Pacific Ocean stretches to the horizon near the Kaituna River mouth at Maketu, Bay of Plenty, New Zealand. This coastal reserve preserves one of the most intact dune ecosystems in the Tauranga Ecological District. Filmed in March 2026.
