The night sky time lapse taken near the boat ramp at the reef reserve and camp grounds, the lake is a large water storage area on the fish river created by the Oberon dam it is at 1068 metres above sea level and is classed as alpine waters, and is well stocked with fish. It is all farm properties around the lake and the shore is dotted with odd sized granite rocks, taken on the night ending on 7 September 2023 at 1AM
