尋訪位於陽明山國家公園內的草山水道與藍寶石泉，需要花費一些腳力。從陽明山天主堂後一路往山區走去，進入步道，經過一座名為「第三水管橋」的石拱橋，橋上石板因應橋下的不同輸水方式，從中線一分為二，一半由一塊一塊的石板鋪成，另一半則是採用一整片完整的石板作為橋面，過橋之後出現的安山岩石屋，上頭寫著「湧泉台」，似乎告訴著旅人目的地就在眼前。石屋的門一打開，映入眼簾藍色粼粼的美景，直讓人讚嘆「值得」！
