Late afternoon on December 23rd in the Pantheon Rome , Italy. At 2,000 years old It is the only major Roman construction that has been continually used. It was commissioned by Marcus Agrippa during the reign of Augustus (27 BC – 14 AD). The present building was completed by the emperor Hadrian and probably dedicated about 126 AD. The dome of it was an engineering marvel that inspired Brunelleschi and Michelangelo. The resolution suffers a bit from the poor lighting.
