The Dumoine River is one of the few remaining wild rivers draining into the Ottawa River system. The Dumoine is a class 1 to 5 whitewater river, with 8 portages available to bypass the class 3+ to 6 rapids and falls. The view shows a very mild stretch about 14 kms upstream from the major rapids at La Grande Chute.
