Built in 1908, the Central Fire Station on Beach Street is a striking example of Edwardian architecture with a fusion of classical styles. It is the oldest fire station in Penang and is still operational today. The panorama captures its distinctive red and white facade and the large arched doorways designed for early fire engines.
