Overall approach from ESE. Parking area for a few cars by mapped track entrance, west side of A836 at NC522257. Followed the track down to the drainage canal. It is not possible to cross the cut ditch canal there but there is a bridge across further south at NC512257. Once over the bridge it is a beeline route to the summit negotiating any lochans and wet areas along the way.
