大屯自然公園位於大屯山的西北方山腰，101甲縣道（百拉卡公路）旁，海拔高度約800公尺，以植生復舊所形成之自然公園，暖溫帶闊葉林和火山錐體最具特色。

除了觀賞自然公園裡栽植的各種杜鵑、山櫻、楓香、紅楠、筆筒樹等花木之外、還可在木棧橋上觀賞游魚和水池風光，並遠眺大山、菜公坑山。春夏之間，更可觀賞到許多蝴蝶和鳥類等野生動物在花間飛舞採蜜、求偶或育雛。
