多納座落於三百至六百公尺海拔的山腰之間，是台灣最古老的原住民部落之一。多納社區活動中心牆面上述說著祖先來到多納村的故事。依據耆老口述，多納村的形成之初是有一獵人和狗到今日的多納村打獵，因為獵人的狗數次留在沼澤地河岸，獵人相信這代表這裡是個好地方，因此帶領族人遷徙至此。活動中心如今不只舉辦各種活動，同時也有凝聚族人的功能。
