位於菁桐火車站上方，是以前石底大斜坑旁，如今已成為觀光景點，來此參觀可看到石塊切成的礦坑口，舊時由石底開鑿煤礦，經大斜坑集中運出的景象彷彿浮現在眼前。菁桐煤礦公園滿布茂盛的植物，交錯盤雜的樹根成了特殊的畫牆，讓到此的遊客們鏡頭下少不了捕捉的畫面，且漫步煤礦公園，彷彿回到百年前的菁桐。
