這一座約50公尺的吊橋，橫跨冷水坑溪，紅色的橋柱、黑色的鋼索與褐色的橋板，矗立在青山之間，顯得特別明顯耀眼。位於步道入口的菁山吊橋美麗迷人，橋下有硫磺味的溪水為內雙溪源頭支流之一，附近有舊時採硫礦的遺址。
