海岸地形以三貂角為界，以北是標準的沈降海岸地形，岩石經過千萬年海濤和強勁的東北季風不斷的侵蝕、磨蝕、風化、搬運等作用之下，形成了如蘑菇般的蕈狀岩、豆腐似的豆腐岩、蜂巢式的蜂窩岩 ...... 等各種渾然天成的奇形怪石。
