Optimo (Espacio), October 2012 at The Reading Rooms, Dundee (back when shooting a 360 in a club was more complex and involved than it is with today's one shot cameras). Although I'd been listening to mixes and remixes by Optimo aka JD Twitch and JG Wilkes for a decade or so, this was the first time I'd heard them DJ in person. Their reputation weighed heavy but they were even more genre-smashing, high-octane, gleeful and irreverent as I'd expected. Dundee's one of the best towns to party in, and the crowd in the Reading Rooms was lit… truly a wild and joyous night.
