萬大工業區位於大寮區台21線省道旁，係為配合政府「根留台灣」政策而設置，由台糖釋地，政府協助中小企設廠，總面積達83公頃，以21線省道為起點，規劃一條U型道路為主軸，所圍繞區域內大小廠房林立，井然有序，道路兩旁規劃綠帶隔離，使園區內顯得平和且寧靜，提供各企業一個優良的投資環境。
