This panorama was shot exactly at the 2007 summer solstice. It shows a view back in time when the Isar at this point wasn´t re-naturalized yet. Right below the railing several huge blocks of stone were needed to define the type of stones for several steps alongside the river bank. More than ten years later the river banks are a common place to meet and take a plunge if the weather is fine.
