The Market-Frankford Subway-Elevated is Philadelphia's longest urban rail line. The Northeast section, known as the Frankford El, which dominates several miles of Kensington and Frankford Avenues, has long been a favorite panorama subject. I took these on August 18, 2023. All except the terminal interiors are stereoscopic.

On The Ridge (11)

"The Ridge" separates the valleys of the the Schuylkill River and the Wissahickon Creek in Northwest Philadelphia. Its salient feature is a group of very tall steel towers, built to broadcast UHF television. There are still farms on the North end of the Ridge, and its steep Western slope has some remote and even wild places.

Hood Cemetery (12)

Created in 1692 as the Lower Burying Ground of Germantown, Hood Cemetery owes its present name to the 19th century donor of its grand balustrade and entry arch on Germantown Avenue.

Monochome anaglyphs to be viewed with red/cyan glasses; others on VR headset or with a screen stereoscope using a WebXR enabled browser.
