Filakovo castle

Partially reconstructed ruins which date back to 12-th century there was already the castle with square tower, palace and palisade on the volcanic top of a basalt rock 65m high. Ciastocne zrekonstruovana zrucanina hradu na nizkom, strmom hradnom brale priamo v meste Fiľakovo. Hrad s pohnutou historiou od 1682 lezal v ruinach.Od roku 1972 sa uskutocnuje konzervacia hradnych ruin. Po rekonstrukcii Bebekovej basty je v nej zriadena expozicia z historie hradu a mesta.
