centuries-old beech trees, Garfagnana, Lucca-Italy
Toscana

From Campocatino, in Garfagnana we took the CAI trail no. 177 to get to the Tombaccia Pass where we continue along the path between centuries-old beech trees, until we reach the top of the Tambura at 1895 meters. In the woods it seems to be in a fairy tale, perhaps somewhere fairies, gnomes and elves are hidden. You only hear the crunch of the branches that move and the sound of dry leaves moved by the passage of some insect or animal.

The light that passes between the vegetation and the reflections of the sun's rays are magical.

More About Toscana
