Bruce Bay is a small community on the West Coast of New Zealand's South Island. It lies at the mouth of the Mahitahi River. On this warm summer day in February a strong onshore breeze blows off the Tasman Sea bringing rain showers. Logging debris litters the beach with intricate shapes and color in an otherwise monochrome scene.  Asperitas clouds dominate the sky.
