Ich beschäftige mich seit 1997 mit der Fotografie. Anfänglich habe ich praktisch ausschließlich SW-Negative belichtet, die ich dann im eigenen Labor ausgearbeitet habe. Inzwischen arbeite ich mit einem rein digitalen Arbeitsablauf sowohl in Farbe als auch in SW. Die Ergebnisse drucke ich mit Pigmenttinten auf Hahnemühle-Papiere.

Seit 2004 beschäftige ich mich mit der Panorama-Fotografie. Interaktive Kugel-Panoramen, wie sie auf diesen Seiten zu sehen sind, fotografiere ich seit 2006. Anfang 2008 begann ich, mich mit verschiedenen Rückprojektionen zu beschäftigen, um Kugel-Panoramen für den Druck aufzubereiten.

I started to work in the area of spherical panoramic photography back in 2002. I used the Nikon Coolpix 995 / EC8 combination for quite a while. I started to shoot full screen spherical panoramas in May 2005. In 2007 I started to make pole shots and crowd shooting.

I had my first contact with photography in the mid-seventies, when I was thirteen years old. At that time my step-uncle, who worked as a freelance photo-journalist for a local newspaper, taught me a little about taking photographs and processing negatives and photoprints in the darkroom. I was pretty fascinated, but was unfortunately talked out of the photographer's profession as an "unprofitable art". After some decades, I now feel more and more excited about photography again, especially panorama photography.
