I started shooting panorama-photos many years ago.

On many places around the world - inside and outside - there is more to show than only a picture. Look around in full 360° - like you were there.

Since I was ten years I have always photographed small sections of the world. More than 50 years later, I started to take panoramic photos - it was challenging and exciting and so it has remained.

I'm a photographer living in Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA. I've done  both amateur and professional photography for the past thirty plus years and am now immersed in the world of 360 degree VR and HDR photography.

I am a Network Administrator, by trade, working with Development Alternatives providing IT support to USAID projects around the world; and a world traveler / amateur photographer at heart. I enjoy travelling to new places, seeing new things, and taking pictures of everything I see. For me photography is an attempt to capture the world the way I see it, preserve it for memory, and sharing those visions with others. When I first started traveling for work in 2003 I carried a small 3 megapixel point-and-shoot camera with me everywhere I went. As work has continually taken me to more places around the world and has shown me many more things to capture I found, that as much as I enjoyed it, the little point-and-shoot camera was no longer enough and I started to invest in new equipment. Ever since I have been travelling on a frequent basis and you almost never find me more than 5 feet away from my camera, which is always at the ready. This website allows me to not only preserve those incredible places, but it also gives me a way to share those moments with others. I live in Central Oregon, USA in a city called Bend.  It is a beatiful area and I hope to share it with the world for those who cannot visit.  I specialize in real estate shooting and may include many 360 sunset captures of homes I shoot, along with Central Oregon landmarks.  

I enjoy photographing outdoor settings.

The weather in this part of the world gives me a lot of opportunity to take cameras and the light quality is usually excellent.

When I don't have my SLR handy I shoot single row panoramas with my iPhone and it gives reasonable results too.

Amateur and lover of photography, in 2007 I bought my first reflex camera, a Pentax K10, and since then , photography has become a passion, so intense, thats it is very difficult to pass a day without taking my camera or spend hours straight in front of my PC, editing, retouching, and finally uploading the photos to this digital world we all communicate

For more then 35 years now, I'm active in the photographic scene as a.... photographer.

In those years many advertising agencies and private clients were served with the most challenging and tempting photography. Despite the fact that I never like to do a job twice, I did Paris Dakar four times and that resulted in a lifetime addiction to the Sahara. Many trips after that were undertaken to this part of the world but since the unrest in that area I now have another passion: Making panorama's with the help of a mobile 20 meter tall mast. I do serve the area around Hungary since we moved to this part of Europe.

The reason for this move? It's new developing part of the European Union and knows many undiscovered places and histories.

Next to the panorama's we'r also still active as social engaged photographer and that way we also do work for NGO's the world allover.

Mark Hakansson has been a photographer for over 20 years.His work has taken him all over the world, documenting everywhere from popular tourist destinations to remote regions.Such projects have included photographing the Kalahari 'San' Bushmen and the Himba of  Namibia for Survival International resulting in a number of exhibitions. Thanks for visiting. I am an amateur photographer, mechanical engineer, machinist, entrepreneur, builder of widgets and airplanes, pilot, hunter, and a motorcycle racer. I shoot panoramas with a Canon 5D MII using a 16/35mm and a 15mm fisheye. I am continuously amazed at the incredible engineering behind our own human eye. As photographers, we attempt to reproduce how the human eye captures light and color. In controlled conditions we can simulate what this feat of engineering does so effortlessly.

How foolish and insulting to the designer and builder, to attribute this spectacular universe and world to an accident. As an engineer, I would liken it to touring the space shuttle and attributing it to the work of an amateur - not knowing or caring that the chief engineer is your guide - and you thought he was just a volunteer.

During my travels, visited various places in Europe, Asia and Africa. Photographed wildlife in Uganda, volcanic gases rising from the craters of volcanoes in Kamchatka, was a sailor on a three-mast sailing frigate Shtandart.

I photograph for more than 20 years. Worked in a variety of genres, from reportage to studio costumed staged shots.

In photography, I try to show that part of the world, which usually escapes the gaze. Rare condition of human, dreams and fantasies, creative displays people around me, unique places of our planet, subculture ... All that shows that the world is more complex and interesting than commonly believed.

I am fairly conservative in my photographic technique, as I prefer to control as much as possible of the picture taking - the aperture; the focus; use of a fixed focal length lens; and use of a tripod whenever possible to frame and compose shots. However, one of the benefits of this has been that I have won prizes in several amateur competitions.

I fell in love with these panoramas from the first moment, and think that 360cities is a great way to see images of the world.

It all started in the summer of 1998, I discovered a few rotating images on a Japanese engineering demonstration disc. With a simple flick of the 'wand', you get to explore the whole construction site. I was absolutely fascinated by the magic of virtual reality and I had an epiphany that this is exactly what I want to do from that moment on--I want to travel all around China to capture her beauty, and let the world admire her culture, from an unbiased, comprehensive perspective.

This motivated me to establish the ChinaVR website with my partners and set up a panoramic archive for all Chinese World Heritages and tour resorts. Therefore, I was regarded as China's first VR panoramic photographer. I dedicated myself to the development and application of Panoramic photography and computer processing technique, among them, Floating panorama and Motion panorama are well received by my peers. Thanks to the support of IVRPA and WWP, ChinaVR became the top Panoramic website in China and gained reputation worldwide.

Since hundreds of thousands of Chinese people were drawn to panorama, I established a pano forum for the fans and offer them a platform to exhibit their works and share their excitement. I always encourage these friends to participate in WWP events despite the language barrier. My next step is to setup a panoramic gallery, organise a Chinese panoramic association and publish a professional magazine in China, to help Chinese pano fans to communicate with international peers.

For my personal plan, I am preparing to build some "pano-rooms", in which huge gigapixel panoramic photographs were printed on Advanced Semi-gloss Photo Paper and mounted on 4 walls, sometimes with "ceiling" and "floor". Each wall measured at least 3.5 x 3.5 meters, people stand in the center of the "room", to feel the atmosphere of reality and to watch the very fine details of the panorama even with a magnifier.

I started photography in 1999 on film and my first digital camera, an Olympus. In 2001, I started working with a small entry-level camera from Nikon, the Coolpix 880. It was also the time I started panoramic photography.

From then on I have gone to like photography in many flavors especially Pinhole Photography and Medium format photography. Being a keen collector of antique cameras, I regularly use East German (Russian) Practika cameras with world famous Carl Zeiss lenses to do more artistic work, however my main interest still remains in Digital photography using my trusted Canon Digital and film kit.

I've just retired as an English teacher and Director of Performing Arts and to fill the vacuum and stop me watching daytime television I've set up a small business, Go Panoramic, which specialises in 360 panoramic photography. Conventional photography constrains us to flat, rectangular pictures. An 8x10” frame held at arms length only captures less than 1% of the entire visible sphere around us. This area is minuscule and neglects 99% of the world.

We compensate by snapping more pictures, assembling them into a montage to tell the whole story. But we have grown accustomed to this technique and are conditioned to think this is the only way to capture the world because it closely resembles the world as we perceive it. But how do other animals, without binocular vision, view the world? What about flies and birds and reptiles with panoramic vision? Or insects who can see in the non-visible spectrum? They see the world differently but their perspective is not “wrong”.

Open your mind and look at the world as it truly is, through a different lens, the 720° sphere fully surrounding us.

Climbing, traveling, photography and science are the important activities in my life. These activities are connected with each other and they are helping me differently on my way of life. I do climbing since 1998. The first place it brought me where (after almost whole Europe) was Peru (2003). Afterwards I´ve visited Russia (Kaukaz), Canada, Madagascar and U.S. My first digital camera was OlySP500 (in 2006), now I´m using Nikon D200. Well I'am living in The Netherlands and for some years busy with photography, and have been always interested in making panorama photo's. Most of the times these photos where images of 4-5 photo's stitched together. From here on I tried to make 360 pano's an noticed that it was very difficult to make these without a tripod. So I started making these photo's on the tripod but that still was not good enough. So I started to look what was needed to make perfect 360 panorama photo's. And on the internet I saw some Pano Heads, which I made myself from metal. And see here the result.

So I think it's a great way to freese an location with this photo techniek and than share it with the world.

I live and play in the southwestern United States, where I work at my day job as a wildlife biologist for a private consulting company.  I also volunteer part-time as a science teacher for local schools and museums, but my true love is seeing and sharing the natural world with my children.

I started out in photography when I was 12 years old, where I mostly experimented with a home-built 8x10 large format pinhole camera and developing my own film. As a photographer, I really love to do scenic and fine-arts photography, but I'm also interested in doing pano's and VT's for educational and environmental programs. Thus, I hope to develop 360cities and Google Earth-based educational VT's for students and others to learn and enjoy.

From in New York City, Jook Leung is a professional 360 Panoramic Photographer intent on capturing wide-view images of people in urban landscapes around the world.  His work has been described as "visually rich narratives depicting the intricacies of the world's cultures with the full spectrum of human emotion." Through his work, viewers can experience not only what the world looks like from a single vantage point, but the entire visual spectrum that they would have if they were spinning around in a circle while standing on the same point in real time.

Spanning the last two decades, Jook's 360 panoramic photography reveals the more subtle interactions between subjects and their environment that might not be apparent in regular photos.  His work captures greater detail than standard photographs, offering viewers an understanding of the composition in deeper context.  Differing from videography, panoramic photographs can be viewed in their entirety in a single moment or presented digitally, allowing the viewer to explore its dimensions with a mouse or a touch screen.

Always looking for the his next shot and ready to see it before it happens, Jook is internationally recognized as an innovator in spherical panoramic photography.  In a rare achievement, he was awarded three consecutive Fuji Film Masterpiece Awards for photographic excellence in electronic imaging by the International Association of Panoramic Photographers (IAPP).  Additionally, his experience spans 34 years as an advertising and editorial photographer with a background in photo-illustration and digital imaging.  Commercially, his current work with immersive panoramas includes hospitality, tourism, events and museum projects.   

Jook has given presentations and workshops about his work at International Virtual Reality Photography Association (IVRPA) / VR Summits and at International Association of Panoramic Photographers (IAPP) Conventions.  He has written articles for Panorama Magazine. In January 2005, his panoramas were featured in an on-air interview on ABC's News Now program about his 360VR panoramas of Times Square on New Year's Eve.

Hi, One day I discovered 360Cities in the Gallery layer of Google Earth.  What was this?  Wow, this is cool.  I wanted to learn how to make them myself and so began the exciting journey of learning all about shooting panoramas, stitching, and finding out how to get them on Google Earth.

Living at the eastern edge of the Great Basin in Utah I noticed that there were not many panoramas out west of I-15 in Utah all the way over to Reno Nevada. A few shots were in the mountains in Nevada by a fellow in Salt Lake City but other than that it was empty territory with all kinds of interesting places to take photos.  This was a good excuse to start exploring these areas to take panoramas that could be shared with everyone on Google Earth.

 Other areas of the world are well represented in 360Cities and as a way to show thanks to the other 360Cities photographers that have taken time to shoot their parts of the world, I decided that I would try to do my part by taking photos in the areas in the western United States that don't as of yet have any panoramic photos.

Panoramio photos (photos in the default layer in Google Earth) are interesting but don't give the feeling of being at that location like a well shot 360 panorama does.  I use Panoramio as a tool to locate interesting areas for 360 panorama shots.  A greater concentration of photos = an interesting area to be considered for a 360.

Its fun to study the maps and Google Earth, find some areas to shoot, learn the history about the area, take the photos, stitch and try to perfect the image, and then share the image on 360 Cities and Google Earth.

Robert first saw spherical panoramas (or photo bubbles as they were called then in 1999) and wondered how they were created. After looking into the subject and finding Prof. Helmute Derschs early versions on Panotool he decided to give it a go.

His first spherical panorama was taken on 35mm film using a standard tripod head. The photos were processed, scanned and then stitched (there were no GUI frontend's it was text files). The alignment of the photos wasn't perfect, but it proved it could be done.

Over the years he has continually improved his camera setup and post processing process. On the camera side he went from a Nikon Coolpix 990 and FC-E8 fisheye lens through to currently a Nikon D300 and 10.5mm fisheye lens. While post processing he now used Adobe Lightroom 3 and PTGui.

He now takes his panoramic camera setup wherever he goes and enjoys shooting everything from local views to holiday destinations. He also has contributed to the World Wide Panorama project since the first event in March 2004.

Photography has always been something for which I've always had an affinity. So much so that I persued and earned a Bachelors of Science degree in photography at Sam Houston State University. I've freelanced and was the photo editor of the university newspaper for a few years. I am currently serving in the United States Navy and have had the good fortune to have literally been around the world. While photography is not my job in the Navy (I'm actually a nuke electrician), it's still very much a hobby and something on which I'm still trying to hone my skills. I find that these 360 panoramas are as much a techincal challenge as much as it is an artistic challenge. They bring me back to far flung place I may never visit again, as if I were actually there. Hi my name is Chris and I recently entered the world of 360 Panoramas, some of my early work, and by early I mean shot in the last month or so are not full 360 x 360, sadly I was new to the world of 360s and figured it would just take a certain set of pictures, so I ended up with some unexpected shadows or didn't take a ground shot to stitch in, but I am learning and my work is getting better and better all the time.

My wife and I like Street Art so a lot of what you see will be on that subject, the really cool thing is that the locations we visit change often so whilst the location might be the same the content and subject can often be quite different.

I love technology and enjoy photography and I hope you enjoy my work where I combine the two, please make sure you check these out on your smartphone or tablet and if you have Google Cardboard or other VR Headset then even better.

I've always been fascinated with photography in general but there is something about the wide angle shots and landscape pictures that definitely attracts me the most. I like to travel and record as much as I can see - The world is beautiful and I hope I can travel even further than I have been in the past -

I have started creating panoramas around the late 2010 - the proper one's where I have to stitch a series of pictures using HUGIN and complementing it with photoshop for some 'editing' ...they were rough but I learn and I am still learning until now ... mind you it took me a while to figure out how to get rid of the hole in the 'Zenith' and the 'Nadir' - that is after countless googles ...

My latest one's were done using HDR brackets shots ...Yayyyy !!! - I find it with HDR, I can depict a more realistic scenery or make it 'surreal' which I am not going to anyway ... I am proud of my works and I hope you enjoy and share the same fascination with me for my creations .... Thank you for visiting ...

I love to travel and love to photograph. It's been a long way from 35mm slides to spherical panoramas! I find that the spherical panos really alter photography. For the first time the viewer is no longer bounded by the borders of the frame. Of course the photographer still controls many aspects of the view, but there is a very real sense of "like beeing there" that doesn't happen even with large cylindrical panoramas. For exploring unknown places to go visit or getting excited about new sites it's a new world!

I take most of the panos using a 10.5mm fisheye lens on a Nikon D200 camera. Many times I hand-hold the 8-9 shots using the "string method" to avoid large parallax errors. Sometimes I use a tripod with a nodal nija panoramic head, but my enthusiasm to carry a tripod around is rather limited. At the end of the day the photography needs to be secondary to the enjoyment of the place!

I try to write descriptions for all my published panoramas to describe the place and also why I bothered going there and taking the shot. I discovered panoramic photography in the year 1997 and create first 360º panorama with my first digital camera Olympus. I was living in one of the world's most beautiful cities Prague (Czech Republic) and in 1998 I have created interactive CD-ROM Praga Virtualis (production of Barrandov Multimedia) with 500 panoramas and interactive map and multi language information.

I've just started taking panoramas and still have a lot to learn judging by some of the great photos on this site. (Cue Waynes World and Aerosmith)

My aim is to capture the construction of the new Mersey Gateway Bridge as a photography project over the next few years and share the photographs here for everyones benefit.

Sadly a road and bridge project is generally linear so full 360 panoramas may have a little unwanted background, I'll try and keep it a mininum.

The villa is a spotless, comfy beach house in homey Turkish style. It is spacious, light and airy with screens on some of the windows. Lovely sea breezes and lots of windows kept the house very comfortable. It is split into 3 apartments and can be let as individual apartments or works equally well for a large group of up to 14. The garden, pool and barbecue area are extensive enough for any number of people and the surrounding area has stunning views of mountains and crystal clear sea of Mediterranean.

Second floor apartments sleep up to 6 people, first and third floor sleeps up to 4 people. The bed rooms are all air conditioned and each of these apartments has several balconies leading from them where you can relax and enjoy the beautiful views.

At Villa Dundar you are surrounded by trees and flowers in the large garden and pool with the hills, mountains and bays beyond. There is beautiful birdsong, the hum of cicadas and the soothing sound of the sea washing over the pebbles on the beach - magic. It's like living in a national park. The world famous Lycian Way hike goes right by the house and when you walk into town you are walking on it.

You dont need to have a car if you like walking. The beach is an easy walk down the hill and there are 6 restaurants. You can walk into Kas (30 minutes) and come back on the dolmuses (50p each) or taxis (4 pound) . Each morning the baker van toots his horn outside and you can buy your fresh bread.

I often say that I am a photographer that does not necessarily specialize in anything, but rather have a vast experience in a wide variety of photographic fields. I often photograph things I enjoy doing and understand the best. Being a skydiving instructor, scuba diver, 6a Climber, cyclist and all round aviation and extreme sports enthusiast, I believe that I posses a few interesting characteristics and skills that separate me from the usual photographers. Simple things like difficult angles and challenging lighting does not put me off taking the perfect image in any environment. I am equally at home inside a purpose built studio and hanging from an abseil rope thousands of feet above the ground.That is all quite a mouth full and the only way I can think of explaining it better is by blogging about it. So on www.picturemyplanet.xyz you will find a few of my current favorite images and a small explanation of what they are all about. They might also be in other galleries on the same site where they will be accompanied by other photographs I enjoy.  I am skilled in conventional photography, 3D modeling and 360 x 360 degree imaging. I have already applied my skills and abilities to some of the largest and most prestigious hotel groups, international aviation companies and extreme sports imaging, adventures and activities, events and expeditions, as well as having imaged some of the more unusual environments, from the deepest canyons and caves to the highest pubs, mountains and peaks and the absolute top end of products, fashion and real estate. Currently living in New Zealand,  I am in search of my next fulfilling challenge. Several years ago, I was struck by curiousity and an irresistible urge to discover the art of photography. The idea of capturing what you see, thus documenting the way you see the world, really intrigued me. Having bought my first DSLR, I embarked, aimlessly, to learn the basics and technical aspects of photography. 

However, it wasn't until I stumbled across 2 award winning images, the first being “Guiding Light to the Stars” shot by Mark Gee and the second being "Distant Lands" by Michael Goh, that I knew what I wanted to focus on. 

The moment where I saw an image of the Milky Way on a screen, to finally seeing it for myself in person and photographing it was one of the most profound moments of my life.

I'm an experienced, knowledgeable and professional panoramic photographer and producer, with more than a decade creating commercial 360° content.

I'm passionate about all aspects of 360° content; producing conventional photographic, stereographic, animated and video panoramic projects, as well as object VRs. Delivering virtual reality (VR) content for a range of sectors – amongst retail, education, hospitality, tourism, security, industrial and the arts – is what drives me, especially as 360/VR° and immersive content is starting to see widespread mainstream adoption across a range of media and devices.

I've 20 years of professional design industry experience in print, digital and screen; working on 3D design, visualisation and imagery since the late 90s. I've specialised in digital, panoramic and immersive photography since 2005; equally stimulated by the creative and technical skills required to deliver excellent quality work. I have also been a member of the International VR Photography Association for many years.

I founded and led a specialist virtual reality team in one of the UK's leading shopper marketing agencies, delivering innovative VR solutions for brands and retailers including Disney, GlaxoSmithKline, L’Oreal, Thorntons, Boots, Argos, Homebase, Sky and Asda WalMart. These were deployed as desktop, mobile and offline solutions; including dedicated immersive life-sized walk-in ‘Virtual Labs’ in London and Leeds. 

My professional work covers a wide range of subjects and categories; my personal work reflects recurrent themes of placement, enclosure, context, texture and light. In all cases I aim to capture both a moment in time, and a sense of place which provokes an emotional response from the viewer. 

Realism, accuracy and detail are key to compelling 360° content. The immersive nature of panoramic photography enables the viewer to be placed in the centre of the subject matter… achieving what generations of visual artists before have striven to achieve.

My first attempt at a  360° image was in 1991, inspired by David Hockney's photo-montage work from the early 80s. The process (with a point and shoot film camera) was hit-and-miss, and the final result less than impressive. I put my panoramic photographic career on pause. Experiencing the earliest QTVRs in the late 90s amazed me and piqued my curiosity, but it wasn't until RAW-based digital photography in the mid 2000s allowed me to combine my interest in CG and photography, and I plunged head-first in to a 360° visual world.

A career journalist, broadcaster and communications professional, I have lived and worked all over the world, most recently in Saudi Arabia, UAE, China and now the Philippines. 

A group of citizens have established a public organization "European fund of recreational, natural, environmental and humanitarian activities "Futurus XXI"" even name reveals part of the aims and objectives of our fund. 

We aim to integrate the best achievements of European experience to the Ukrainian public organizations. Without activation of real non-state power exit from a permanent socio-political deadlock is impossible. The existing political forces are solving only their own selfish interests and unlikely in the near future they will turn to the urgent needs of their citizens. We do not claim to universality of their recipes. But we are convinced that the real, even small, useful to society actions will help step by step to improve the country.

If the people themselves, on their own initiative and will, to the extent of its forces, will alter and improve the world around us for the common good, it is exactly building blocks of such good deeds possible give us a possibility to build a truly public society, a society of healthy and free people.

History The dream of establishing a "University of the Jewish People" in the Land of Israel formed an integral part of the early Zionist vision. With the acquisition of the Gray Hill estate atop Mount Scopus, and the laying of the cornerstone for the university-to-be in 1918, the realization of the dream was on its way.

Seven years later, on April 1, 1925, the Hebrew University of Jerusalem was opened at a festive ceremony attended, among others, by leaders of world Jewry including the University's founding father, Dr. Chaim Weizmann, distinguished academics and communal leaders of the Yishuv, and British dignitaries including Lord Balfour, Viscount Allenby and Sir Herbert Samuel. Also in attendance were Chief Rabbi Abraham Isaac Hacohen Kook, the poet Haim Nahman Bialik and many others.

The First Board of Governors of the University, chaired by Dr. Weizmann, included such luminaries as Albert Einstein, Sigmund Freud, Martin Buber, Haim Nahman Bialik, Asher Ginsberg (Ahad Ha'am), Dr. Judah Leib Magnes, James Rothschild, Sir Alfred Mond, Nahum Sokolov, Harry Sacher and Felix M. Warburg.

The University's first three research institutes - in microbiology, chemistry and Jewish studies - had 33 faculty members and 141 students. In 1931, the University awarded its first degrees, the Master of Arts, to 13 graduates.

By 1947, the University had grown to a large, well-established research and teaching institution, encompassing humanities, science, medicine, education and agriculture (the last at a campus in Rehovot); the Jewish National and University Library; a University press; and an adult education center. Student enrollment exceeded 1,000 and there were some 200 faculty members.

The War of Independence in 1948 left the University campus cut off from Israeli west Jerusalem, and alternative facilities were found throughout the city. In 1953, construction began on a new main campus at Givat Ram in the heart of Jerusalem. A few years later work began on a health sciences campus in Ein Kerem in southwest Jerusalem, in partnership with the Hadassah Medical Organization. By the beginning of 1967, the number of faculties and schools had been greatly expanded, and enrollment exceeded 12,500.

With the reunification of Jerusalem in the Six-Day War of June 1967, work began on restoring and expanding the Mount Scopus campus. In 1981, the historical Mount Scopus campus again became the main home of the University. The University has since continued to grow, with the addition of new buildings, establishment of new programs, and recruitment of outstanding scholars, researchers and students, in fulfillment of its commitment to excellence.

I have worked in the field of computers and digital imaging for the past 33 years and been involved in the evolution and acceptance of computer imaging from both a hardware and software perspective since joining U.K. digital pioneer Quantel in 1984. 

During my time with Quantel, I was responsible for introducing digital technology to the arts and media industries in the U.S. from my base in Silicon Valley. I also travelled regularly to the U.K. to work with Qantel’s development team on the UI and functionality of what would become the industry standard of it’s time: the Quantel Paintbox.

In 1987, I left Quantel to start his own Hollywood based company, Electric Paint.  Employing this new digital technology I produced Key Art for major motion pictures including Edward Scissorhand, Terminator II, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Die Hard I & II, Silence of the Lambs, JFK & Born on the Fourth of July and album covers such as Michael Hutchence’s MaxQ, Nirvana’s Nevermind, Elvis Costello’s Spike, and The Beasty Boys’ St Paul’s Café. 

Returning to Australia in 1994, I established Red Square Productions, one of the country’s first Web Development Agencey. Red Square went on to develop long lasting business relationships with companies such Qantas, Telstra, YHA, Panasonic Australia, The Good Guys, Harvey World Travel, Maersk Line Shipping and the oneworld Alliance of Airlines. Red Square Productions was known for its innovative approach to web development, pioneering a number of technologies in Australia and popularising 360˚ immersive imagery, creating unique virtual tours of sporting locations such as Olympic Park, accommodation offerings by Australian Youth Hostels and promotional events for Panasonic Australia, Qantas and Telstra.

In 2008 I merged Red Square’s business with local agency Webqem, allowing me to pursue my interest in travel, 360˚ panorama photography, and all things digital. 

In 2012 I became involved with an Australian start-up company Mogeneration and its tablet publishing solution Oomph taking on the role of Creative Technologist.   

I was recognised in the Australian Mobile Awards for my work in developing the award winning apps for Sky-OneCentral Park (Frost Design/Fraser Properties), Experience the Highs ( New England (NSW) tourism) apps and his 360˚ panoramic photographic contribution to the MCA Anish Kapoor app.

In 2014 I returned to my home city of Adelaide to focus on new technologies and ways of providing 360˚ Panoramic Photography, 360˚ Video and 360˚ Web & App services.

Today I am working with a diverse group of clients to develop 360˚ virtual tour content. My clients include the French luxury cruising company Ponant (Worldwide locations), various divisions of the University of Tasmania (Web and Mobile VR apps), Pichi Richi Railway (Quorn), Stuartholme School (Brisbane)  and MadebyFairfax (Sydney).

I am Abhishek Adhikari, a dedicated 360-degree photographer living in the breathtaking country of Nepal. My passion lies in capturing the world from every angle, offering viewers a truly immersive experience through my lens.

Nepal, with its stunning landscapes, provides the perfect canvas for my creative endeavors. Andy Alpern is a Chicago born Israeli artist living in Tzfat in the Upper Galilee with his wife and son. He is a professional photographer who maintains a gallery and studio in Tzfat’s picturesque Artists’ Quarter. 

Andy moved to Israel in 1997 and trained as a tour guide specializing in Israel Experience adventures.  Combining guiding and photography, he created the first online virtual tour of Israel featuring 360-degree QuickTimeVR panoramas, still images, audio, video and text in an easy to navigate interface.  Andy has 

created Virtual Tours for the education, tourism and commercial markets.  His clients include 

Birthright Israel, United Jewish Communities, United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism, 

Mount Hermon Ski Resort and many businesses and institutions throughout Israel and the 

world. A personal encounter or workshop with Eliyahu and his art at his gallery in Tzfat is a

Eliyahu’s specialties include panoramic photography where the images are often 360

work in a variety of media including giclee prints on canvas, photo paper and fine art paper, 

transparent works framed in glass, and large installations in canvas and on wallpaper. The 

newest project is the “Panoramic Sukkah”, a Sukkah whose interior wall is a 360 degree 

image of Israel. He prints most of his work himself at his home studio with Ultrachrome K3 

archival, pigment based inks. Eliyahu is also a trained Israeli tour guide with 10 years of

Le immagini presentate sono il racconto delle mie esperienze nel campo fotografico. La fotografia ha la capacità di trasportare tutti noi ovunque l’essere umano è riuscito a portare con se una macchina fotografica o qualsiasi altro oggetto da ripresa. Ci regala sensazioni uniche che ciascuno rivive a suo modo. Non sono un fotografo professionista, nel senso che non scatto foto per professione ma per passione; ho iniziato per gioco questo viaggio e per gioco continuo a sperimentare.  Raccontare una storia tramite immagini va ben oltre il semplice scatto fotografico; immortalare un momento che forse diverrà eterno è una dote che richiede molta pazienza.  Ciò che ha sempre attirato la mia attenzione sono le persone, il loro modo di essere, di rapportarsi con gli altri e con il loro mondo e, soprattutto i piccoli frammenti di vita che riescono a raccontare con i loro gesti. Immortalare quei momenti è come fermare il tempo, è trattenere in uno scatto qualcosa che altrimenti andrebbe perduto. Riuscire a cogliere e rappresentare qualcosa di veramente intimo che non mi appartiene ma che trasmette uno stato d'animo mi ha sempre affascinato... La fotografia ha la capacità di isolare un gesto, un'azione, ed eliminando il superfluo riesce a cogliere l'emozione che è parte integrante di quell'unico istante.  Da qualche tempo mi sto dedicando alla fotografia panoramica, cercando nella maniera più semplice e minimale possibile di trasmettere agli altri la sensazione di trovarsi realmente sul luogo e riuscire a farlo attraverso quello che hanno visto i miei occhi è una grande soddisfazione.

The images presented here are the story of my experiences in the field of photography. Photography has the ability to carry each of us wherever it is possible for a human being to carry a camera or anything else for shooting pictures. It gives us a unique experience that everyone can appreciate in his own way. I'm not a professional photographer in that I do not take pictures because of a profession, but rather because for me it is a passion; it is a pleasure trip, and I continue to play with photography purely for the experience. When a person can tell a story through images it goes far beyond a simple depiction; to capture a moment that in a sense becomes eternal is a skill that requires a lot of practice and patience. What has always caught my attention are the people: their way of life, their relationships with others and their world, and above all, the small fragments of their lives expressed through their gestures. To capture these moments is like stopping time; there is the power to hold in one click something that would otherwise be forever lost. This ability to capture and preserve something that is not mine, but is very intimate and conveys a mood has always fascinated me ... photography has the ability to isolate a moment, a gesture, an action - and eliminate the superfluous - capturing the emotion that is an integral part of that one moment. Recently I have been dedicated to exploring panoramic photography, searching for a simple way to convey to others the feeling of being truly on the site. It gives me great satisfaction to be able to allow others to see things in the same way I saw them with my own eyes.

Guy's passion for photography was sparked in boyhood when his dad bought him a 35mm camera. Guy reflects; "he was probably fed-up with me messing around with his Leica!" 

Set on turning his hobby into a career, Guy studied photography at school and then 

Bournemouth and Poole College of Art & Design. Next stop was a Professional Media Degree at the University of Gloucestershire. There, Guy completed a degree* in photography, graphics, film and television. 

Guy's practical experience accelerated upon graduation as he worked as an assistant at Bigshots Studios, learning from some of the very best in the business - Richard Adams, Peter Davis, Steve Jukes, James Callaghan and Jon Cox. Guy spent five years in the role, honing his skills while delivering for a client list headlined by Land Rover, Jaguar, Honda and Toyota. 

His apprenticeship complete, Guy created Guy Dixon Photography and struck out on his own in 2004. A busy, globe-travelling decade has followed and his work has yielded regular high-profile clients like Toyota, Lexus and JCB. 

Guy is highly accomplished in Automobile Photography and 360 HDRI photography. He's delivered international projects for multinational corporations, working across the world. His photography has been showcased across brochures, magazines and billboards. He’s been instrumental in the design of new studios and is a skilled retoucher. 

Away from work, Guy enjoys time with his wife and two kids - bolstering the family album as he goes! He does ditch the camera - for a short time - to partake in cycling, snowboarding and surfing. Guy is based in Cheltenham, UK.

I am an amateur writer, astronomer and photographer whose passion is capturing the natural beauty of cosmic and worldly events, happenings, impressions and expressions. I was born in Georgetown, Guyana in 1959 and I have since travelled the world over residing in England, China, Egypt, and Canada. I was educated and lived in Toronto, Canada since 1976 and will likely remain a Canadian Citizen until I return to the domain of cosmic potence. My belief system is one of inclusive, collective spirituality.

 

 

I started with spherical panoramic photography in 2005 with my first experiments. First I began with partial pano's but later I made the full spherical view. By the time my abilities increased more and more. So I developed an enthusiasm in VR photographs, because this is a fascinating way to take a look around in the whole world. Finally I wanted to add a few panorama shots of my authorship, so now I want to share more and more panoramas with other people on 360cities and other sites. For me it is all about quality, not about quantity. There is no need to produce masses of poor worked out pano's.

As a truth seeker I don't trust in the mainstream media and I reject all kind of religions, because they are cages for the mind. Therefore you won't find any churches, cathedrals or monasteries in my images. I'm interested in photography, video, publishing, journalism, languages (Dutch and Danish) and spiritual items.

Meine ersten Panorama-Experimente begannen 2005. Zuerst versuchte ich mich an Teilpanoramen, fand dann aber später zu den vollen 360 Grad-Rundum-Panoramen. Nach und nach entwickelten sich meine Fähigkeiten. Immer mehr begeisterte ich mich für Virtual-Reality-Fotos, denn ich finde, dies ist eine faszinierende Art, sich gleichsam auf der ganzen Welt umzuschauen. Irgendwann wollte ich dann auch einige Panoramas aus meiner eigenen Herstellung publizieren, und zwar auf 360cities und anderen sites. Es geht mir bei meinen Arbeiten nicht um Quantität, sondern um Qualität, denn ich habe nicht das Bedürfnis, in jeder Ecke meiner Region möglichst viele visuelle "Duftmarken" zu hinterlassen.

Ich betrachte mich als Wahrheitssucher und ich habe ein großes Mißtrauen gegenüber den Mainstream-Medien. Außerdem distanziere ich mich von allen Religionen, denn sie sind Gefängnisse für den Geist. Und somit werden da auch kaum Kirchen oder Klöster in meinen Panoramen auftauchen. Ich interessiere mich für Fotografie, Video, Journalismus, Sprachen (vor allem Niederländisch und Dänisch) und spirituelle Themen.

Met mijn eerste panorama experimenten was ik gestart in 2005. Beetje bij beetje ontwikkelde ik mijn vaardigheden. Eerst heb ik met gedeeltelijke pano's gewerkt, maar enkele jaren later ben ik dan op de volle 360 graad kijk overgegaan. Meer en meer wordt ik enthousiast van virtual reality foto's, want ik denk, dat dit een fascinerende manier is, om als het ware in de heele wereld rondom te kijken. Op een gegeven moment wilde ik ook een aantal panorama's van mijn eigen productie ter beschikking stellen, en dit op 360cities. Voor mij gaat het voor al om kwaliteit, niet om kwantiteit. Mogen andere mensen aan iedere hoek hun visueel plassertje achterlaten, voor mij hoeft dat niet.

Ik beschouw mezelf als waarheidszoeker en ik heb een groot wantrouwen in opzicht op de mainstream media. Ik hou ook niet van religies, want met hun domme dogmata zijn ze allemaal kooien voor de geest. Dus zal je ook haast nooit kerken of kloosters in mijn panoramas zien. Ik ben geïnteresseerd in fotografie, video, journalistiek, talen (vooral Nederlands en Deens) en spirituele onderwerpen.

Med mine første eksperimenter jeg var startet i 2005. Først har jeg startet med delvise (mindre end 360 gråd) panoramaer, senere lavede jeg kuglepanoramaer. Lidt efter lidt udviklede jeg mine evner. Flere og flere entusiastisk blev jeg for virtual reality billederne, fordi jeg synes, at det er en fascinerende måde at kigge sig rundt omkring på verden. På et punkt vilde jeg meget gerne deltager med nogle panoramaer fra min egen produktion, og faktisk også på 360cities. For mig går det om kvalitet, ikke om kvantitet. Jeg vil ikke laver min lille duftmark på enhver hjørne af jordkloden. Det kan andre folk gør.

Jeg betragter mig selv som en sandhed søgende, og jeg har en stor mistaenkelse på mainstream medierne. Og jeg taenker, alle slags religioner er faengsels for ånden. Og det betyder, at der findes naermest ingen kirker eller kloster i mine panoramaer. Jeg er interesseret i fotografi, video, journalistik, talerne (Dansk og Hollandsk) og spirituelle emner.

I have been a keen amateur photographer for several years and, after hitting a creative rut, have now ventured in to the world of 360 degree spherical panoramas. I am fortunate to live in the Norfolk Broads, one of the UK's National Parks, and get to enjoy the countryside on my door step.

I finished economic technical school with big pain, because I knew that it is unnecessary to me, I wanted to go to school on the direction related to data processing and computer graphics. These times is bad and I'm in a new way to improve your skills. This journey began long ago (around 2005) when I was in favor to people borrowing equipment from them for a short period for the implementation of a session. August month is 2012 began with happiness in my hands, came first own the Nikon D80, which hunted for some time. But wallet is always empty.

Using someone hardware have done about 20 photo sessions once in a greater time. In the free time I played with computer, graphics, Virtual Tuning, computer graphics, and visited every good metal/punk concerts to around of my city.

I interested in metal and punk music. A bit of traveling after the concerts in Poland, if someone wants to meet me, drink some cheap wine, beer or other alcohol on a good concert, I invite you to my profile on Last.fm.

In photography,I looking for what in music, pleasure, often dark, climate, commitment, something that makes you think about the photo. Anyway I hate senseless comments are unjustified by any arguments.

I try to be nice to people, but not always I can. Sometimes our beloved genre scares me so much that I want to sit down under the church, take a piece of paper with the words together like this comic "I Collect to the bomb who the Fu*K this Shi* Which is all to smithereens"

I'm Kazushige Wada. Born in Tokyo and graduated the School of Marine and Science and Technology of Tokai university, Dr. Science (geophysics). I'd been working for a mining consulting company as a geophysicist for more than 35 years.  For the last 11 years in my career at the company, I'd served as a director and a president. I create spherical panoramas and virtual tours around the world. I have made over 15,000 panoramas. All panoramas are in high resolution, filmed in HDR format. The nadir tripod is retouched.

My name is Daniele and I am a photographer specialised in 360 photography and virtual tours creation.

I have always had a strong passion for photography, which I consider a powerful tool to capture what surrounds us: landscapes, places, facts of everyday life or architectural works.

About a couple of years ago I discovered the world of virtual tours and 360 photography and I immediately fell in love with it, making it my profession.

For each project I follow a methodology that may vary in order to adapt to the specific characteristics of each virtual tour or photo that I will be creating, but which can be broadly summarized as follows:

   - Identification of client’s objectives

   - Inspection (routes and hotspot location)

   - Realisation of images

   - Postproduction (photo optimization, multimedia material to insert)

Welcome to my 360 Cities Landscape Photography site. 

Ever since I watched a New Zealand kids television programme called "Spot On" back in about 1973 featuring Pinhole Cameras I was away on a very long journey of wonderment and learning as I dabbled, experimented with and studied photography.

I always thought I would be a photographer when I left school - and so I was for a year or two: a commercial and wedding photographer. But I became pretty disillusioned with that as I couldn't photograph what I wanted to photograph. Quite quickly being a photographer meant my hobby and passion was becoming "work" and it started to lose it's magic.  Back then it was magic. None of this instant imagery with your picture showing on the back of your camera. You had to send the film away and wait. In the wedding photography world that was scary! You had the job of capturing a very important day in the life of the young couple and if you had some gear failure you may not know about it until the processed film was back from the lab.

For many years I spent hours in the darkroom developing black-and-white film and printing black-and-white prints. Ansel Adams was a huge inspiration and I got quite involved in something called 'the zone system' which is still the basis for my photography to this day. But technology is making things like the zone system more and more irrelevant. In putting together this website it became hugely obvious, looking back at pictures taken 20, or even 10 years ago, how much the quality has improved. We live in an awesome time and with available technology it almost means nothing is impossible. But it also means really high quality images are more available and easier to capture and so images flood the myriad of social media and Google platforms.

So this site is really a new outlet for me to display the amazing technology that is 360 Panoramas, generally captured by a Drone.

Rivelino (b.1973 Jalisco, Mexico)

He has been experimenting with all sorts of materials, shapes and topics for over 15 years. He has most recently worked on in public interventions, investigating the relationship between the spectator and the artwork as he has done in Nuestros Silencios. During this time, Rivelino has managed the interaction of different materials such as clay and metal, from small to monumental formats.

Rivelino is mainly self-taught, however he has studied at the Ceramics School of Instututo Nacional de Bellas Artes (INBA). His work is part of major private collections in Mexico, Germany, Spain, France, Portugal, Japan, Australia, Canada, The United States and countries in Central and South America.

· Ten great format bronze sculptures will serve as guardians at Victoria Tower Gardens from January 14th to February 15th, 2011.

· Nuestros Silencios becomes a part of the City of Sculpture Festival 2010/11, organised by the Westminster City Council.

London, January 6th 2011. Is this Stonehenge at Westminster? Are these Outer-space giants from a science-fiction story by H.G. Wells? Nothing of the sort. This is Nuestros silencios, a monumental public art installation by Mexican Sculptor Rivelino, which has been touring Europe and has now arrived to its sixth and penultimate tour date: London.

Nuestros Silencios will be exhibited at the Victoria Tower Gardens, located next to the Houses of Parliament, which have been catalogued as World Cultural Heritage by UNESCO. The Gardens are located in a riverbank overlooking the Thames, which runs from South Westminster to Lambeth Bridge.

During 2010 Rivelino’s Nuestros Silencios has been presented in five European Cities as part of the Mexican Independence Bicentennial celebrations, these cities are: Lisbon, Madrid, Brussels, Berlin and Rome, all of which are renowned metropolises, “nevertheless London, and specifically Westminster, will prove to be the jewel of the crown for this exhibition, and will not go unnoticed during its stay” as Councilman Robert Davis, Deputy Leader of Westminster City Council, pointed out in his message for the English version of the exhibition’s catalogue.

We should mention that Victoria Tower Gardens hosts important outdoors sculptural works such as Rodin’s “The Burghers of Calais”, the statue of British suffragette Emmeline Pankhurst, who had a major role in conquering women’s right to vote, and the Buxton Memorial Fountain, which commemorates the abolition of slavery. “This sculptural art celebrates social and libertarian values that are in full agreement with freedom of expression, which is the concept behind Nuestros Silencios” said Rivelino, the very first Mexican sculptor to present a monumental public installation in London.

The authorities of the Westminster City Council have been working on taking advantage of their unique public spaces through the City of Sculpture Festival, which started a year ago. This event seeks to exhibit the work of the best local and international artists, offering a platform for their work so the thousands of people that visit Westminster on a daily basis can see it.

Nuestros silencios is a monumental public sculpture installation that features ten three-dimensional pieces of great format (3.50 x 2.30 x 1.20 meters with a weight of one ton). They are made of bronze using the “lost wax” technique and white and ochre patina. The bodies are covered with low and high relieves, free-interpretation texts covered with seeds and plants. The sculptures also feature a metal plate covering their mouths symbolising the importance of individual and collective freedom of expression.

The idea of freedom of expression is a subject of permanent relevance that goes beyond aesthetic topics and encompasses politics, culture, social and personal issues, and is also related to other ambits such as freedom of the press, self censorship, copyright, intellectual property, the free flow of information on the Internet, Human rights, Public Order and protests, an also the gradual erosion of the public space.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs through the Embassy of Mexico in the United Kingdom, the Westminster City Council and The Royal Parks have participated in this sixth and penultimate presentation of Nuestros silencios in London. The inauguration will take place on January 14th, 2011 at 12:00 pm and will be attended by the authorities of the three collaborating institutions.

I capture everything interesting my cameras can capture within my daily life and trips around Europe (hoping around the world in a near future).

Simon has only recently taken to 360 spherical panoramas but brings with him 40 years' worth of photography endeavours having first shown an interest in the subject as a child. He's travelled all over the world visiting many incredible places, much of it during his military career, and in all this time his camera has never been far from his side.

Over the years he's continually strived to expand his photography knowledge and experience by testing himself with unfamiliar subject areas and new technologies. This is what keeps him fresh and gives him a hunger to do better each and every time.

Over time Simon has continued to upgrade his camera gear and more recently his processing software and now operates a full frame Canon 6D and 8-15mm fisheye lens, atop a Rollei panohead, a Neewer tripod levelling base and a Manfrotto Befree GT tripod. For post processing he's using an array of specialist software in order to achive the best possible results, in what can sometimes be a tricky stitching process, including Canon's Digital Photo Professional 4, PTGui, Affinity Photo and Adobe Photoshop.

Simon never goes far without his camera sling bag accompanying him and enjoys photography just as much now as he ever has. Suffice to say he hopes you enjoy the fruits of his labour.

In 2011 I dived into the world of 360-degree photography for the first time and this kind of photography has not let me go until today. At that time I started with a DSLR setup to capture the scenery as 360-degree photos on weddings in addition to the normal wedding photos. In the meantime, my focus has shifted to landscape and urban photography. Wherever I am, I have my camera with me and hope to take an interesting 360-degree photo - which I then also like to share with other people who are interested in this kind of photos.
